Venkat's curiosity started early. From around the age of eight or nine, he was drawn to machines — anything that moved, worked, or could be understood by taking it apart and putting it back together. Over the years, that fascination grew into a deep, hands-on relationship with automobiles and eventually into V Garage, where restoration became both a craft and an expression of his passion.
Photography has been another constant in his life. What began as an early interest became a way of observing the world closely — finding details, capturing moments, and seeing beauty in machines, people and nature.
His curiosity has taken him well beyond the workshop. Travel has brought him to mountains, off-road trails, underwater worlds and unfamiliar places, while long rides, good music and adventures have introduced him to people and stories from very different walks of life. He enjoys not just reaching a place, but experiencing it, listening to the people he meets and understanding their stories.
Over the past two years, that same curiosity has taken him into agriculture. He has regenerated an old well, planted more than a thousand trees and is now creating an agro-forest — exploring what it means to work with living systems and allow a landscape to evolve.
Across machines, photography, travel, music and farming, there is a common thread: he is always trying to understand. He naturally looks for patterns, connections and the questions beneath the obvious. He is someone who enjoys exploring ideas, listening deeply and connecting experiences that may initially seem unrelated.
